Hi, I’m Cait.
I’m a Louisville-based designer with a passion for finding intuitive solutions and creating beautiful and effective design systems.
After a brief semester studying interior design in Cincinnati, Ohio, I knew it wasn’t right for me. I took a risk switching to a major I knew almost nothing about, but everything really does happen for a reason. I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Louisville in 2018 and am proud to say that I love what I do.
A week before graduation, I began my career as a designer on the Brown-Forman Global Design team. I primarily focused on visual identities and branding toolkits, but also worked on point of sale materials and secondary packaging. I joined INgrid Design almost two years later, where I worked on branding and sales projects for various clients.
Nowadays, you can find me at Hawthorn Innovations, an agency with a love for food and bev. I spend most of my days designing promotional materials for cocktails, as well as creating presentation decks, social media content, menus, signage, and more.
I’m a firm believer that great design is in the details, but I never forget the big picture. I strive to connect the everyday person with design that makes their life a little better, even if they don’t know it.
My dream client list? Nike, Adobe, Spotify, and the National Park Service (I love a good grid). If you have questions or just want to share your favorite design meme, feel free to get in touch.
